How does a trading company calculate its costprice? If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! via /r/economy

How does a trading company calculate its costprice? If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey everyone, so for one of my BTEC Units (unit 7) I have to explain how a trading company and a manufacturing company calculates the cost price of their products, and give examples of them. The issue is that I can't really find too much about it on the internet and I just struggle with this subject in general. So if anyone knows something about the subject you would help me out a lot by placing a comment about it. Thanks in advance everyone!
